This Weekend’s Agenda.
Tonight:
I was going to watch Dr. Who on the SciFi Channel while eating ice cream. The episode I want to see involves an evil diet pill company and cute aliens made of lard exploding out of fat people’s stomachs. Which may not go well with eating ice cream. At any rate, it turns out that this particular episode, “Partners in Crime,” is actually not being aired until next week. Not fair!!
Tomorrow:
Revisit the farmer’s market! Buy the non-sweetened strawberry jam (nice and tart). And a fresh bouquet of flowers for the kitchen table.
Sunday:

I’m going hiking and then going out of town to see a friend’s art at an art fair. Then going out with friends that night . Should be a good time!

Our weekend: We went to New Haven and picked up some cool front speakers I found on Craigslist from a guy doing his residency at the med school; they have a hybrid design with magneplanar tweeter and midrange sections — they look a little strange, but sound totally great.
We’ve been keeping the Rex and Joyce’s dog, Desi,for the past week. He’s been a pretty good little dog. Weather is great — spring finally came to New England.
Work is not too bad — I’m past the most stressful board member rotation stuff, and ended up with some nice folks.
Made contact with an old friend from my days on West 57th St. that I havent seen in years. We were code monkeys together at CHSM Inc., and both escaped eventually… You probably met Anton a few times when you were a very little girl.
Well, I hope you’re keeping it on a even keel and enjoying this weekend. Those were some hard times you were recollecting in your blog last week — so painful to read, heart-breaking, but so brave and well-written…
