Things I Love Thursday

Where to start this Thursday?

How about here:

Heh. It’s like a way more awesome version of those dioramas I had to make back in third grade.

* Diets That Time Forgot. It’s a British Channel 4 program that puts nine people on diets that were popular in the Edwardian, Victorian, and Flapper eras. I can’t stop looking at the description on the website . . . it combines my infatuation with those time periods with my pathologically thorough knowledge of weight-loss methods. Plus it involves the participants staying at a fictional “Institute of Physical Culture.” How . . . civilized. Just like Agatha Christie murder mysteries—another thing I love. I wonder if I can find episodes online.

* This goofy but insanely catchy feel-good song by Iglu & Hartly: “In This City” [right click, save as]

* Giving people random nicknames like “Tater Tot.”

* The wisteria (we think?) in bloom on our deck!

The peep show made me spit my mint tea. Somehow it even got on my glasses. Thanks a lot ;) And if you find the episodes on line to that show you HAVE to tell us! Your flowers are gorgeous - we’re still neck deep in snow. Sigh.
